  • We’ve got connections
Our insider access means you’re not just another traveler. We know the right people, travel suppliers, destination experts, and local contacts who can make sure your trip goes smoothly, from start to finish.

  • Travel is our thing
We’re not just booking trips, we’re constantly training and learning about new destinations and travel products. Even if we haven’t been somewhere personally, we can tap into our network of fellow travel advisors to get all the insider tips for you.

1. Know Your Destination

Learn about the local customs, culture, and important laws. Know what’s socially acceptable to avoid any unintentional offenses. This includes understanding local tipping customs, dress codes, and important traditions.

2. Check Visa and Entry Requirements

Verify the visa requirements, including how long you can stay, whether you need a visa in advance, or if a visa-on-arrival option exists. Double-check your passport’s expiration date (it typically needs to be valid for six months beyond your trip).

3. Make Copies of Important Documents

Photocopy your passport, visa, travel insurance, and itinerary. Keep copies both in your luggage and digitally (email them to yourself or store them securely online). This can be a lifesaver if you lose your documents.

4. Travel Insurance Is Essential

Whether it’s for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, or lost luggage, travel insurance provides peace of mind. It's better to be safe, especially for international trips.

5. Stay Aware of Health and Safety Guidelines

Research any required vaccinations or health advisories for your destination. For certain countries, it’s also smart to carry basic medication or preventive items (mosquito repellent, for example). Also, check with your medical insurance provider to see what type of coverage you have while traveling.

6. Money Matters

Notify your bank of your travel plans to avoid card issues abroad. Carry a mix of cash and credit cards, and research whether ATMs are easily available at your destination. Also, check if your cards charge foreign transaction fees.

7. Understand Transportation Options

If you do not arrange transfers through your travel agent; research how to get around. Is public transportation accessible, or will you need taxis or rideshare apps? For larger cities, familiarize yourself with metro systems or rent a bike.

8. Pack Smart and Light

Always check baggage weight restrictions and pack only what’s necessary. A good rule of thumb is to pack half the clothes and double the money you think you’ll need! Don't forget to leave some room for souvenirs.

9. Know Emergency Numbers and Local Contacts

In case of emergencies, it’s helpful to know the local equivalent of 911. Also, note down the contact details of your country’s embassy or consulate in case of legal or other emergencies.

10. Stay Connected

Consider purchasing a local SIM card or an international roaming plan to stay connected, especially for directions and bookings. Alternatively, many destinations offer reliable public Wi-Fi, but be cautious about security when using it. Check with your mobile phone provider and see what plans they offer when traveling out of the country.

Also there are multiple apps that you can use such as whatsApp, google, WeChat, etc. (disclaimer: not recommending either). You should research to find out what best fits your needs.

Being well-prepared and informed can help you avoid unnecessary stress and make the most of your travels!
